Invention of WWW and E- Commerce
World Wide Web
The World Wide Web was invented by British computer scientist Tim Berners-Lee. He proposed the concept of a global information space where documents could be linked together through hyperlinks. Tim Berners-Lee developed the first web browser and web server software and wrote the first web page in 1990. His groundbreaking work laid the foundation for the World Wide Web as we know it today. Berners-Lee's invention revolutionized the way people access and share information, and he is widely regarded as one of the most important figures in the history of the internet.
E-Commerce
Electronic commerce, or e-commerce, is the term used to describe the exchange of goods, services, or information over the internet. It entails the exchange of goods and services over electronic platforms, primarily through websites and online storefronts. E-commerce has revolutionised consumer shopping experiences and changed how businesses run by allowing customers to interact with brands from the convenience of their homes.
